Belarusians define formula for political success

The second part of the results of a large-scale comprehensive republican sociological study was presented in Minsk. Deputy Director of the Belarusian Institute for Strategic Studies Vitaly Punchenko called social and political trends of Belarus, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

According to V. Punchenko, cited by BelTA, the key emphasis was the political maturity and subjectivity of society, a high level of trust in the state and the political course of the President, the high importance of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, in general, a positive perception of the activities of the local vertical bodies.

Citizens who took part in the social research also determined the formula for the political success of the country. As its components were listed: peaceful life, support for the presidential course, the request for development, efficiency.

- There is a point of unity in which the world is the basis, and the economy is the main criterion for the success of politics, Punchenko said.
