At the initiative of the Governor Alexander Avdeev in the city put in order the historical center, the territory near the railway stations, parks, squares and courtyards.

New tiles and modern showers have already been laid on the station square, engineering networks have been completely replaced, and soon fresh asphalt will appear here. The walking area between the stations will be the beginning of a convenient walking route to the center. On the streets of Bolshaya Moskovskaya and Gagarin, the old concrete tiles were replaced by granite tiles - 10 thousand square meters of coverage were laid.

After the fire, the drama theater was reconstructed: the stage, administrative part, stained glass windows and white-stone walls were updated, modern equipment was installed. The surrounding area will also be improved.

New recreation areas appear on the Boulevard of the artist Ivanov and in the square behind the Philharmonic overlooking the floodplain Klyazma. The creation of a park at the Palace of Children’s Creativity continues: the upper pond is already taking shape, observation decks and embankments will appear around, and the cleaning of the middle pond will begin this year.

Vice-Governor Alexander Muromsky stressed that the governor personally monitors construction, visits facilities weekly and monitors the deadlines.
