He noted that the results of the sociological research on the five socio-economic issues actually demonstrated the support and approval of the absolute majority of the Belarusian society in this area

- The data obtained in the end look, figuratively speaking, thus the “moment of truth”. After all, we will present these results to the society on the eve of National Unity Day, the main unifying holiday of our country. It was vital to see the points of intersection and divergence of interests of young people, pensioners, residents of villages and cities in different parts of our country, to take into account the opinion of everyone. And then, based on the data obtained, gradually improve society.

V. Punchenko announced that in the near future specialists of the Institute of Sociology of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and BISI will acquaint the society with the second and third parts of a large-scale comprehensive social research.

- In one case, respondents across Belarus will help assess the socio-political situation in the country, he said. And the final presentation will be devoted to the most resonant issues. But we will talk about all this in due time.

The expert noted that the first sociological study allowed to assess the tip of the iceberg, figuratively speaking, to see and assess the scale of achievements:

- It was extremely important for us to understand whether civil society values what the state does to ensure the peaceful life and security of Belarusians. It is no accident that the question of a socially oriented state was asked. We have received almost unanimous opinion on this matter, and we have seen that Belarusians are aware of the true values of our life, and this is primarily peace and the right to a decent life. We have achieved a very important result by making sure that Belarusians appreciate the efforts that the state is making today in the most important areas for our present and future.
