Improvement of the territory from Kecskemetska to Titov in Simferopol is coming to an end

In Simferopol, the improvement of the public territory from Keckemetskaya Street to Titov Street with a total area of about 26 thousand square meters continues. The head of the city administration Mikhail Afanasyev said that the engineering networks have already been laid, and the sports and playgrounds are ready.

At the moment, the contractor has laid engineering networks. The sports and playgrounds have been completed.

The installation of small architectural forms continues. Installed structures for pedestrian bridges. Gabions are being arranged and flower beds are being prepared.

“I am convinced that after the transformation, this territory will become a new place of attraction for citizens and guests of the city,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

The territory from Keckemetskaya Street to Titov Street was chosen by residents during the All-Russian online voting for improvement facilities in 2025. More than 205 thousand people took part in the voting on Crimea, and 11 public territories, which are landscaped in 2026, became the winners. Among them is the square from Keckemetskaya Street to Titov Street in Simferopol.

In March 2026, the head of the administration of Simferopol Mikhail Afanasyev said that the contract for improvement has already been concluded. The project includes asphalt driveways, tiles, benches, children's and sports grounds, lighting and video surveillance.

In February 2026, Afanasyev reported the start of work: the contractor went to the facility and began the preparatory stage - topographic survey of the area. Full-scale construction work was to begin as soon as weather conditions allowed.
