Blogger Lercek reported the progression of stomach cancer and re-growth of metastases

Blogger Valeria Chekalina, known as Lercek, spoke about the deterioration of the condition against the background of stomach cancer of the fourth stage. According to her, the examination revealed a repeated growth of metastases in the adrenal glands, ovaries and lungs. This is reported by RIA Novosti.

The results of PET-CT Cekalina reported in a video that was posted on Instagram on Thursday by the father of her fourth child, dance coach Luis Skvicciarini.

“I had a PET scan, and unfortunately, the study showed that metastases started to grow again throughout the body: in the adrenal glands, in the ovaries, they returned again, in the lungs, and the cancer began to progress with renewed force,” she said.

According to Chekalina, doctors recommended that she consider the possibility of CAR-T-cell therapy in China. She said she hoped the court would allow her to travel abroad for treatment. Skvicciarini added that due to severe pain, she was prescribed a second course of chemotherapy.

She had previously completed chemotherapy. At the same time, a source from her entourage told RIA Novosti that she will have to undergo targeted therapy for life.

The deterioration of the blogger’s condition was also told by her ex-husband Artem Chekalin during the consideration of the appeal in the Moscow City Court for the seven-year term assigned to him in the case of withdrawing money in the UAE. According to him, the last month and a half Chekalina “practically does not get up.” In the same case, she received a suspended sentence.
