More than 140 enterprises develop the food industry of Luhansk region

The food industry of Luhansk region is recognized as one of the most dynamic and strategically important sectors of the regional economy. This was announced today by LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik on the occasion of the Day of Food Industry Workers.

Today, more than 140 enterprises are engaged in the production of food products, where more than 5.6 thousand specialists work. The annual volume of shipped products reaches 18 billion rubles, which is confirmed not only by statistics, but also by numerous gold medals of international exhibitions.

It is also important to note that the geography of supplies of goods with the “Made in LPR” sign is constantly expanding: bakery products, meat delicacies and dairy products are successfully sold in many regions of Russia. This is the result of strict quality control at all stages - from the selection of raw materials to packaging.

Leonid Pasechnik congratulated the industry workers on their professional holiday, stressing that in the context of modern challenges, their dedicated work is the foundation of the food security of the region.
