More than 288,000 salary arrears repaid after intervention of prosecutors in Mstislav district

More than 288 thousand wage arrears were liquidated at one of the enterprises of the agro-industrial complex of Mstislav district after the intervention of the supervisory authority. This was reported in the Prosecutor General’s office, writes sb.by.

The audit showed that the management of the organization violated the requirements of labor legislation and did not pay employees salaries for one of the months of this year. As a result, debt was created.

To protect the rights of employees, the prosecutor's office of Mstislav district issued an order to the head of the enterprise demanding immediate repayment of the debt. Based on the results of consideration of the act of supervision, the employer transferred the money due to 205 employees in full.

In addition, the head was brought to administrative responsibility for the violations committed. He was fined 30 basic values.
