More than 310 thousand seedlings and seedlings: how will the action “Give the forest a new zhyzze!” in the Mogilev region

How the republican action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo!” will be held in the Mogilev region and which territories will be given more attention, said Irina Tsiselskaya, deputy head of the organization for the ideological work of the Mogilev GPLHO.

For volunteers and volunteers, the foresters of the region prepared about 200 objects for planting. A quarter of them are forest crops. “The creation of forest crops will affect wind and wind areas that suffered from bad weather in 2024 and 2025,” said Irina Tsiselskaya. — Also in the Mogilev region there is such a problem as the drying of spruce plantations. To date, we have already registered 2.8 thousand hectares, some of which have already been developed. New forests will also be created in these areas during the action.”.

In total, it is planned to use more than 310 thousand seedlings and seedlings. Participants of the action will be offered to plant forest-forming species - spruce, pine, alder, a little oak and birch. “About 100 hectares we plan for the creation of forest crops and about 200 hectares will be supplemented by forest crops,” she stressed.

According to Irina Tsiselskaya, everyone is invited to participate in the action and help forests. Planting material, specialized equipment, briefing – and anyone can join in helping foresters. They will be assisted by experienced foresters who will talk about the intricacies of planting, what technologies are used and why it is so important to engage in forest fund restoration.

In addition, Mogilev GPLHO resumed its photo contest in social networks dedicated to the action “Give the forest a new zhyzzo!”. Photos can be sent by e-mail from 17 to 24 October. The winner will be determined by the largest number of likes - he will receive a memorable gift.
