More than 400 teachers of Ivanovo region applied for the title of veteran of labor

In the Ivanovo region simplified the design of the title “Veteran of labor” for teachers. Now teachers of general education schools need to confirm at least 25 years of experience - the requirement for additional departmental awards for them was canceled.

The relevant changes to the regional legislation were adopted on September 24, and they entered into force on October 13. The decision followed the initiative of Governor Stanislav Voskresensky, who proposed not to postpone the introduction of a simplified procedure in anticipation of additional federal regulations.

Under the new rules, teachers must apply and attach a certificate from the employer confirming the experience of 25 years or more. Documents are accepted in the territorial bodies of social protection at the place of residence. The application can also be made through the portal "Public Services".

One of the first to apply for the title was the teacher of gymnasium No. 36 Olga Voronova. She teaches history, social studies and economics, and her teaching experience is 33 years. Previously, she was hampered by the current requirements for seniority and awards.

During the first week of the new rules, more than 400 teachers submitted applications. According to the regional department of education, about three thousand teachers of the Ivanovo region will be able to use the simplified procedure.
