More than 450 dog walking reminders distributed to residents of Lipetsk

In Lipetsk was held the action “walk the dog correctly”. Employees of the department of development of the territory communicated with pet owners on city streets and reminded about safety rules. More than 450 information leaflets were distributed to residents.

Dog owners are advised to clean up after pets in public places, not leave them unattended and comply with the requirements for leash and muzzle. It is forbidden to walk animals in children's and sports grounds, as well as in the territories of schools and hospitals.

In addition, the rules limit the independent walking of dogs by children under 14 years of age unaccompanied by adults - except as provided for. Do not go out with a pet for a walk and in a state of intoxication.

For non-compliance with the requirements, the owner may be issued a warning or an administrative fine. Responsible walking helps to protect both those around and the pet itself, as well as maintain order in the common spaces of the city.
