The Ministry of Health of the Tula region joined the annual charity event “Autumn Week of Good”. As part of the initiative, the agency, together with the Tula Regional Blood Transfusion Station, organized a donor event designed to draw attention to volunteering and support for socially significant projects.
More than 600 people took part in the action. Among them are employees and representatives of the health care system, residents of the region, activists of the Young Guard, as well as deputies of the Tula City Duma Sergey Galkin and Andrei Mazov, deputy chairman of the City Duma and deputy head of the United Russia faction Daria Gerasimova and a deputy of the City Duma, head of the regional branch of the Young Guard of United Russia Pavel Astafiev.
Participants visited a blood transfusion station to replenish supplies of donor material and support patients who may need transfusions. The action brought together representatives of different professions and public associations around a common goal - to help people who find themselves in a difficult situation.
The head of the regional branch of the Young Guard of United Russia in the Tula region, Pavel Astafiev, thanked everyone who took the time to become a donor. It is important to hold such events regularly, and donation should become a familiar part of public life. According to him, the organization will continue to support socially significant initiatives and attract young people to participate in good deeds.
“Autumn Good Week” is aimed at the development of the volunteer movement and the involvement of residents in charitable projects. Donor actions allow combining the efforts of medical workers, public organizations, government representatives and caring citizens to support those who need help.
The Ministry of Health of the Tula region expressed gratitude to the participants of the event for their active citizenship and readiness to help others. Even one visit to a blood transfusion station can be an important contribution to the common cause.
Earlier, “MK in Tula” reported that vascular surgeons of the Novomoskovsk city clinical hospital for the first year of the department conducted more than 540 operations. The number of urgent interventions increased from 13 to 62.
