More than 800 bikers held a motorcycle season in Astrakhan
The festive column along the central streets of the city was personally headed by Governor Igor Babushkin.
More than 800 fans of motorcycle sports gathered in Astrakhan to guide bikers to hibernation. The organized race started from the intersection of Admiralty and Nikolskaya streets. Bikers drove through the streets of Boeva, Nikolai Ostrovsky, Victory and Red Embankment, and finished at the center of winter sports.
Governor Igor Babushkin noted the positive dynamics in the region. According to him, the number of motorcyclists is steadily growing. At the same time, the number of accidents involving bikers has sharply decreased. The head of the region attributed this to the fact that the road patrol service also received motorcycles, which made it possible to more effectively control the situation on the roads.
Babushkin stressed that the authorities will continue to create all conditions for safe driving for lovers of two-wheeled transport.
For many Astrakhan, this race was not just the final ride before the cold, but a real tradition. Every year, a growing number of participants confirms that motorcycling in the region is only gaining momentum.
