More than five thousand bags of foliage collected on Saturday in Kursk

Today, the regional center covered a large-scale Saturday — more than a thousand people took to the streets. Cleaning unfolded in public places, parks and squares, as well as in the territories of social institutions, schools and kindergartens. By the middle of the day, participants had collected more than 5,000 bags of fallen foliage.

The action was joined by employees of all departments of the administration of Kursk and subordinate organizations, and together with them - caring citizens.

It's all over town. Since nine in the morning, employees of the Seimas district administration have removed at least five cubic meters of garbage along Seryogin Street, and this is only one of the locations. The Rokossovsky Park also did not stand aside: 180 bags of foliage and garbage were collected here.

In the park on Komarova Street and in Solyanka Park, specialists in the management of cases and the prevention of corruption offenses took out almost 90 bags of leaves. More than 60 employees of the administration of the Central District worked in the Dzerzhinsky Park, as well as in the leisure zones “Kuryanochka” and “Duck Island”.

Specialists of the Committee for Social Protection of the Population and the Center for Social Services took up the popular holiday destination on Polugor - more than 150 people in total. They also clean up in Georgievsky Square and on sections of Dzerzhinsky and Radishchev streets.

Employees of the Committee for Economic Development and Entrepreneurship work in the Park of Heroes of the 16th Air Army and in the public space on Republican Street. And in the Pioneer Park, order is provided by specialists of the housing and communal services committee - they collected 150 bags with fallen foliage.
