Most Belarusians link their future with their native country: results of a large-scale sociological study

If there is no feedback between the state and society, the state is doomed. Hearing and listening to people is his responsibility. A large-scale sociological study was conducted throughout Belarus. Its participants represented the socio-demographic section of the entire population of the country. This week, the first part of the results was presented – socio-economic.

This is a question that you can find many answers in Belarus. But most people named this one. What achievements of modern Belarus are people proud of? 85.2% responded with a peaceful life. This is a high assessment of the efforts of the state to strengthen security, preserve peace and stability in our land. And support for the president's policies, for whom this is the number one priority.

Interesting and answers were in the top three leaders, in addition to peaceful life. Quality of food (62.5%) and cleanliness and improvement of settlements (57.9%).

What do Belarusians consider the most important thing in life? The vast majority give an unambiguous answer: health (80.8%). And this is important for understanding why the state pays so much attention to this topic – from school meals and sports grounds in the yards to equipping clinics with modern equipment. The importance of the family was noted by 60.9%, and the material wealth of 45.7% of Belarusians.

To the question “Would you like to go abroad for permanent residence?” 1.7% of respondents answered positively. 98% of Belarusians want to live in their country. Here and now. Forever. And these survey results are easy to verify.

And now the money. More than 82% of respondents rated the financial situation of their family as good (82.2%), 17.7% called it bad. At the same time, 82% are satisfied with their place of work, the rest are not (17.9%), which is correlated with the assessment of their financial situation.

Yulia Abukhovich, an economic analyst, said: Someone lacks a salary, someone cannot save money to make big purchases. But this is absolutely normal for any state. At the same time, the sample was such that both young people and more mature people participated in the study. And the main thing is that these percentages answered positively on almost all articles, it was more than 50%, 60-70% on some issues, it is 90%, what the state does for the people, agrees and wants to live in the country.

The main conclusion of the study is that the socio-economic development of the country is moving in the right direction, the state effectively responds to all key needs of society. Living in Belarus is comfortable, and people associate their future with this land. The truth is that we have a lot to develop and improve. And we'll do it together.
