Sandwich in the subway: is it possible to eat in public transport or is it moveton?
An etiquette expert has dispelled myths about snacking in carriages and explained why boiled eggs on a train are a bad idea.

Hunger is not an aunt, and is often taken by surprise on the subway. But is it possible to get a snack in front of dozens of passengers, or is it a violation of all rules of decency? Etiquette specialist Anastasia Perevalova is sure: if the food does not have a sharp smell and does not crumble, you can have a snack in transport. The same applies to drinks - a thermos or a closed bottle is quite acceptable. But open cups with hot coffee are prohibited: with sharp braking, you can douse your neighbors.
The main rule is not to disturb others. If you know that people will be uncomfortable with the smell or the kind of food you eat, you better be patient.
What about the trains?
On long trips, food is the norm. But the expert advises to avoid foods with a strong smell. Boiled eggs and smoked chicken will quickly impregnate the whole coupe with an aroma that will not appeal to all fellow travelers.
Coffee on the run
Walking down the street with a cup of coffee is no longer considered bad manners. It has become the norm of urban life. Although the expert reminds: it is better to allocate five minutes, sit down and calmly drink a drink from a cup, writes “KP”.
