The police department in the Penza district appealed to a local resident born in 1973. The man said the TV was missing from his apartment. At the request, a criminal case was opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of Russia.
Criminal investigation officers found out who was involved in the theft. She was the applicant’s ex-wife, a previously unconvicted 50-year-old woman. She had a duplicate of the keys, with which she freely got into the house and took the equipment. The damage amounted to about 28 thousand rubles.
The sanction of the article provides for a penalty of imprisonment for up to two years.
