According to the defendant, the document allowed the producer to dispose of all intellectual rights of the singer, including songs and trademarks. The plaintiffs insisted that according to the contract, only the rights to claim moral compensation for publications discrediting the honor and dignity of Shatunov were transferred. Both sides accused each other of replacing pages in the contract and forging signatures. In which of them is right, the Shcherbinsky court of the capital understood.

On October 9, the servants of Themis sided with the plaintiff and invalidated the agreement on the transfer of intellectual rights to all the artist’s work.

Razin’s representative, Alexander Zharkov, told MK that the defendant would be satisfied with such a decision, and he would not appeal it, but on one condition:

- If restitution is applied, that is, each party returns the received.

And this means, according to Razin, the Shatunovs should return 10 million rubles paid to him for intellectual rights.
