Prices for goods and services in the Vladimir region increased again
Annual inflation in the Vladimir region slowed in September, but its level is still higher than the all-Russian.

And for the year added 7%, reported in the Vladimir branch of the Central Bank. This is more than the national average, where inflation was 6.4%. During the month, prices changed in different ways: on vegetables and foreign trips, residents of the region saved, but a new phone, gasoline and a caviar sandwich cost more.
The most expensive gas type of fuel at gas stations. Gasoline also increased in price, but not as noticeable as in the early summer. To avoid shortages, the government is taking measures for a stable supply of fuel to the domestic market.
Due to the weakening of the ruble in the summer and the lack of memory chips in the world, smartphones, televisions and computers have risen significantly. Earlier this year, TVs, by contrast, were cheaper faster than the national average, but September demand allowed sellers to make up the difference. The subscription fee for mobile communications also increased: operators began to include the cost of repair and modernization of equipment in tariffs.
The food basket in September rose slightly. For the third month in a row, vegetables are cheaper: a new harvest has arrived on the shelves. Sugar began to become cheaper as factories began processing sugar beets.
The eggs are still expensive. This is seasonal growth: in autumn, demand for them increases. Fish lovers also had to spend money. Red caviar was especially noticeable. The reason is that in the Far East fished less salmon, and fishing companies shifted the cost of logistics, ship repairs and salaries of sailors in the final price of the goods.
In the service sector, paid services of schools and universities hit the purse the hardest: at the beginning of the academic year, prices were traditionally revised, laying in them the increased costs for communal services and teachers' salaries. At the same time, it became cheaper for Vladimir residents to rest on the sea in September. Due to the seasonal drop in demand, vouchers to Turkey and the countries of Transcaucasia, as well as to Russian resorts of the Black Sea, fell in price.
Annual inflation in the Vladimir region slowed in September, but its level is still higher than the all-Russian. We see a classic seasonal set of factors: new crop vegetables are getting cheaper, but what depends on imports and world markets is getting more expensive. Regulatory work on saturation of markets continues to smooth out the influence of external factors on the wallets of residents of the region, said Tatiana Sidorova, head of the Vladimir branch of the Bank of Russia.
