Black promised to find the nature of the smell of fuel oil in the air

In the node of the Tula region will check the possible source of the smell of fuel oil, which complains of local residents. This was reported by the acting head of the administration of the Uzlovsky district Vladislav Chernykh.

According to him, appeals about unpleasant odor are received through social networks and the unified duty dispatch service (EDDS).

As a possible source, a boiler house located on the territory of the depot and working on fuel oil is considered. However, final conclusions about the causes of the smell have not yet been made.

In the near future, representatives of the administration will consult with specialists and organize a visiting meeting directly at the facility. It is planned to check the work of the boiler room, establish the causes of the smell and determine what measures should be taken.

Vladislav Chernykh promised to report on the results of the inspection and further actions.

Earlier, MK in Tula wrote that the source of the unpleasant smell in Novomoskovsk was associated with the work of Procter & Gamble. Growth in indicators of hydrogen sulfide was recorded on 5, 19 and 25 February, as well as 8 and 10 March 2026.
