Chuvashia received the entire planned amount of influenza vaccine

On October 20, more than 82,000 doses of domestic flu vaccine were delivered to Chuvashia. The republic received the entire amount of drugs provided for by the national calendar of preventive vaccinations.

The batch included more than 33 thousand doses of Ultrix-quadri for children and pregnant women, more than 39 thousand doses of Sovigrippa and more than 17 thousand doses of Flu-M for adults. In the near future, vaccines will be distributed among medical organizations in the region.

Since the beginning of autumn, more than 433 thousand doses have been received in the republic. Vaccinations were made by 38.8% of the planned number of adults, 49.9% of the planned children and 47.9% of pregnant women.

“Vaccination is the most effective measure to combat influenza,” stressed the Minister of Health of Chuvashia Larisa Tarasova, noting that vaccinations reduce the risk of severe complications and deaths.
