Country routes in Orenburg are closed: pensioners remain without transport until spring
This week in Orenburg stop working holiday routes

The administration began to reduce the number of flights in September, and from October 1, country routes worked only on weekends. This approach angered Orenburg pensioners and those who do not have personal transport to get to their sites.
As explained at City Hall. The city administration associated the reduction of the schedule with a decrease in daylight and cool weather. However, this October the weather is warm and sunny - it's time to spend a few extra days in the country. But the administration did not adjust the schedule and add buses to the line.
What happens in practice. On weekends, buses simply can not push: not everyone can squeeze even into spacious cars. And now the routes stop working altogether. This weekend in the country buses will again be the usual stampede – however, for the last time this season.
There's two things. The first is seasonality and weather: the decision to reduce flights was made based on a typical autumn picture, but this year October was warm. It turns out that officials focused on the calendar, not on real conditions, and as a result, people lost the opportunity to go to the cottage in good weather. The second is the social aspect: suburban routes are not just transport, but the only opportunity for the elderly and those who do not have a car to get to the sites. For many, a dacha is not a hobby, but a source of products or just a place where a significant part of life passes. And when routes are closed, these people remain cut off from their sites until spring.
And do you think that the administration should extend the work of suburban routes, if the weather permits, or the schedule should still be tied to the calendar?
