VNS delegate Irina Kozlova: it is important to be an example of indifference to your country

The life of Irina Kozlova from Bobruisk is painted in minutes. The teacher of choral disciplines of V.V. Olovnikova Children’s Art School No. 2 manages two creative teams, successfully combining work with active social life. She heads the first trade union at the school and acts as the chairman of the trade union of the Bobruisk city organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Culture, Information, Sports and Tourism Workers, is a deputy of the City Council, an assistant to a deputy of the House of Representatives. Irina is currently studying at the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. She's also the mother of a ten-year-old daughter.

- I work at my home school. As they say, where he was born, there and useful. I believe that this is very consonant with the state policy for the development of strong regions, says Irina Igorevna. And I manage everything because I know exactly why I work, and I see a huge return.

Her students won more than 270 diplomas and six Grand Prix at various competitions. The teacher herself in 2023 was awarded a special prize of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee for the education of talented youth. Seven graduates of Irina Igorevna followed in her footsteps. The active nature of Kozlova never closed in the walls of the study room. When Irina Igorevna was nominated as a delegate of the VII All-Belarusian People’s Assembly from the City Council of Deputies, everyone voted unanimously in favor. Irina emphasizes: For me, participation in the VNS is a huge responsibility. Speaking with delegates, I realized the main thing: we are thinking in the same direction. These are loyal people who are ready to lend a shoulder to the President and the leadership in the regions. Kozlova told colleagues and employees of other organizations and enterprises about the five-year program of social and economic development of Belarus, about the priorities and indicators outlined in it. Bobruychanka is convinced:

- If everyone strives for the result, the salary will grow, and the country will reach even greater heights. This is my understanding of the role of the All-Belarusian People’s Assembly – to direct people’s energy to creative work and the growth of general welfare.

Irina Kozlova’s personal mission is to preserve folklore. She created an ethnographic corner in the school of arts, restored the ceremony of “Kalada”, conveys the children’s love for Belarusian traditions.

- If we do not pass on our national heritage to future generations, we will lose ourselves as a nation. There is no point in teaching, you need a personal example. And this is not only about preserving the cultural layer. It is important for children to be an example of indifference to their country.
