The week of parental love gave everyone a lot of warm emotions, ending yesterday, October 21, Father's Day. As already reported by the media, the President congratulated his compatriots on the holiday: “Please accept sincere congratulations on Father’s Day.” This holiday embodies the special role of a man as a protector and reliable support of a family whose knowledge, experience and strength are a role model. A caring and loving father is able to teach honest work and serve the Motherland, make decisions and take responsibility for them, overcome any difficulties and confidently achieve their goals. Always remain faithful and wise companions for your loved ones, ready at any time to defend your family and country. I wish everyone health, happiness and well-being. May the joy of fatherhood fill the family hearth with harmony and harmony, inspire you and your loved ones to good deeds for the benefit of your native Belarus.

The holiday in Belarus was established relatively recently. For the first time, the pope was officially congratulated in 2022, but this day has already managed to gain a foothold in the festive calendar and in the hearts of people. The regions hosted exhibitions, competitions, warm meetings and round tables dedicated to family values, and at home - their own small cozy celebrations.

The young foreman of the RSUP "Olekshytsy" Berestovitsky district Andrey Ivankov considers his role as a father to be the main one in life.

- I want to become a worthy example for my four-year-old son Vladislav, says Andrei. When you have children, you know you are creating the future. I want my son to respect the work of the earth. And having chosen his way in life, he knew how to achieve his own. My wife and I are thinking about having more children in the family. I grew up in the countryside and want my children to grow up in the fresh air, healthy and happy. My colleagues warmly congratulated me, and at home my wife and son prepared a surprise - a drawing and crafts. That was very moving!

In the Potapov family from the village of Farinovo, Polotsk district, Father's Day is treated with special attention.

- The husband works as a locksmith, the children are proud of their father, says Maria. The main tradition is a festive dinner. It’s great to see the role of the father. We women have always had enough attention. A man is a reliable support in the education of children. When Dad is around, kids have a different sense of security and security. Therefore, I believe that Father’s Day is a necessary holiday.

The Potapov family. And in the Lobazhevich family from Nesvizh district, where the spouses work in the advanced farm "New Life", four children are brought up. Their mother Anna Lobazevich shared what a surprise prepared her husband for the holiday with the children:

- We always try to make this day special. The children cooked the father crafts – they drew, made something with their own hands. I cooked his favorite dishes and decorated the house. For us, this is an opportunity to say thank you to my dad for his work, care, for being around him. When children see their dad not only working, but also participating in their lives — playing, helping with lessons, walking with them — they feel more confident. And Father's Day is another occasion to show him how important he is to us. For a long time, it was believed that upbringing was primarily a mother’s concern. But it's not. A father is also a whole world for a child.
