Deputy Stepanov congratulated Tulyaks on Father's Day as a father of many children

Deputy of the Tula Regional Duma, adviser to the governor Ilya Stepanov addressed the residents of the region with congratulations in honor of Father's Day. The holiday is celebrated in Russia on the third Sunday of October - this year it falls on the 18th.

In his address, the parliamentarian noted that this day has a special significance for him: in 2026 he became a father of many children. Fatherhood is a daily work that requires wisdom, patience, responsibility and unconditional love for children. It is the father who lays the foundations of character in the child and teaches honesty, courage and loyalty to his word.

“I wish you, dear fathers, good health, family warmth and pride for the success of your children. May love, understanding and joy always reign in your homes, Stepanov said.

Father’s Day appeared in the official calendar of Russia in 2021 at the initiative of the head of state. The date was chosen not by chance - the third Sunday of October falls on the autumn school holidays so that fathers could spend this day with their children. The tradition of congratulating fathers existed before: since 2008, the holiday was unofficially celebrated in different regions, including on the initiative of local authorities.
