Director of the Fund for capital repairs of the Rostov region Daria Sheremetyeva became a defendant in a criminal case. According to the regional investigative committee, a case was initiated under the article “Abuse of official powers”.

According to the SU IC, the suspect illegally terminated the contract with the contractor. After that, the contractor was fined under a bank guarantee for 9 million rubles. A similar case occurred in 2025. The contractor suffered losses of 38 million rubles.

In 2025, the director canceled the electronic auction for the production and delivery of payment documents. This led to the division of procurement into separate procedures.

As a result, contracts were awarded at inflated prices. The organization again suffered losses of millions of rubles.
