Olesya Zakharova, the head of the Abakan school No. 29, reached the final of the competition of mentors “To be, not to appear”. At the final stage, she presented the project “Cadet Brotherhood” in the nomination “Master-Leader”.
The final meeting was held in Tula from 13 to 18 October. It brought together participants from 67 regions of Russia - mentors, youth and participants of the SVO. During the week, the contestants presented their own projects, participated in business and military sports games, and also performed tasks in which they needed to show the ability to work in a team and make decisions in different situations.
In total, the competition was held in six categories: from beginner mentors to those who serve as an example for others. Experts evaluated not only the ideas of the participants, but also how they manifest themselves in practice.
Following the meeting, the finalists prepared proposals for the “Code of Mentor”. The document enshrines such values as respect for the individual, responsibility and continuity. The contest ended with a general oath of mentors of Russia.
