Director of construction firm in Staroyurievsky district goes on trial for fraud with the repair of the educational center

The Prosecutor’s office of Staroyurievsky district sent to court a criminal case against the General Director of the construction company. He is accused of fraud on a large scale.

According to the investigation, in 2022, the contractor undertook the overhaul of the building of the institution of additional education. However, the work was not completed in full - the volume and cost were overstated. Thus, more than 700 thousand rubles were stolen from the budget.

The illegal scheme was uncovered by employees of the regional FSB.

The case materials were transferred to the Staroyurievsky District Court. The prosecutor’s office also filed a lawsuit demanding the return of the stolen funds.
