In the Omsk region are considering a bill on fines for motorists who use paid parking without payment

In the Omsk region are considering a bill on fines for motorists who use paid parking without payment. At the meeting of the Committee on Legislation and Local Government of the regional Legislative Assembly, the initiative to introduce a new article into the regional Code of Administrative Offences was discussed.
According to the proposal, drivers will be given a day to pay for parking — in case of violation they may face a fine of 3,500 rubles. Now the rules for the organization of paid parking in Omsk have already been approved, but there are no sanctions for non-compliance. The profile committee supported further consideration of the document and recommended its inclusion in the agenda of the Legislative Assembly, but a final decision has not yet been made.
Paid parking in the center of Omsk plan to launch from December 1, 2026: they should appear on 47 streets, a total of about 3.8 thousand car seats in 200 parking lots. Also under consideration are tariffs for season tickets: the cost of an annual pass can be 124 500 rubles, semi-annual - 66 900 rubles, monthly - 11 900 rubles, weekly - 3 150 rubles. The final conditions of parking will be known after approval of all necessary documents.
