Governor Dmitry Artyukhov congratulated residents of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug on Father’s Day, which is celebrated on the third Sunday of October
The Governor of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Dmitry Artyukhov congratulated the residents of the district on Father’s Day, which is celebrated on the third Sunday of October. He thanked the Yamal popes for their contribution to strengthening family values and raising children. The head of the region addressed special words of gratitude to the fathers who are now on the front lines.
Artyukhov noted that for a child, the father becomes a support, protector and mentor. According to him, the district authorities continue to develop measures to support families and create conditions for the study, health and development of children.
“Our main task is to strengthen the foundation on which strong families stand. We are building new houses, modern schools and kindergartens, medical institutions and cultural objects. We are constantly improving the range of measures to support families, taking into account the opinion of the northerners themselves. It is important for us that every child grows up safe and has all the opportunities to develop their talents, said Dmitry Artyukhov.
The governor also stressed that the families of combatants are provided with the necessary support so that their loved ones feel attention and care. He wished the Yamal fathers health, well-being, harmony and mutual understanding in families.
Before Father's Day in school No. 1 of Salekhard, the pupils' fathers held unusual literary classes. Veteran combat operations Kuandyk Kurmanguzhinov met with second-graders, and fifth-graders, together with Ilshat Cheremshantsev, read “The Adventures of a Rhino Beetle” by Konstantin Paustovsky.
