According to the Volgograd CGMS, on October 18, dry and warm summer weather will remain in the region. In Volgograd during the day the air will warm up to +22 ... +24 ° C with an east wind of 6-11 m / s. In areas of the region, the temperature can reach +26 ° C.

However, the nights are already cool: from +9 to +14 ° C, and when cleared, the thermometers can drop to +4 ° C. No precipitation is expected.

The main danger of the current period is fire. The fourth (high) class of fire hazard was declared on October 18 almost throughout the territory. Volgograd, Volga, as well as the central, southwestern, southeastern and northeastern regions are under threat. A special regime operates in the Yelan, Kikvidzen, Mikhailovsky, Serafimovichi and Kumylzhensky districts.
