The project “In the footsteps of history” brought first place to students of Donetsk State University. In the nomination “Small Motherland” on the III season of the All-Russian Youth Award in the field of media and journalism “Noise”, Alexander Molyak, freshman Mikhail Kerstynyuk and third-year student Mikhail Achkasov won.
This was reported in the Public Chamber of the DPR, specifying that Molyaka is studying in the first year of the master’s degree in Journalism.
The competition was serious. The organizers received 15 thousand applications from all over the country, but only 75 people from 31 regions reached the full-time final. The final and award ceremony were held in Moscow. The award was presented by TV presenter Yulia Baranovskaya and the Governor of the Kaliningrad region Alexey Besprozvannykh.
"In the footsteps of history" - a series of documentary videos. The authors open little-known pages of the past of Donetsk and tell about the people who formed the image of the city.
According to Alexandra Molyaki, the value of the project is to help residents of the region to see familiar places in a new way. In the ordinary, she noted, a whole era lurks: quiet streets, old buildings, inconspicuous details - all these are pages of great history.
The roles in the team were clearly distributed. Molyaka was responsible for the idea, guidance and script. Kerstynyuk became the host and co-author of the scripts. Achkasov provided the visual part as a videographer.
Molyaka also stressed that the project not only reminds locals of history, but also opens the edge of the whole country.
This victory is another confirmation of the high level of the Donetsk school of journalism.
