Rainy morning turned into a sharp rise in the price of taxis in Rostov

Residents of Rostov on the morning of October 16 faced an increase in taxi prices. On some routes, the cost of trips was twice as high as usual.

This is evidenced by the data of the service “Yandex Taxi” as of 8:00. So, for the road from Komsomolskaya Square to the embankment, passengers were offered to pay about 600 rubles. Usually a trip along this route costs about 300 rubles.

Presumably, the increase in cost is due to the rain that began in the city. Unfavourable weather conditions could affect the number of orders and availability of cars.

At the same time, according to the forecast of weather forecasters, rainy weather will continue throughout the day. Thunderstorms are also possible in Rostov. The daily temperature will be about +21 degrees, the wind speed during gusts will reach 12 meters per second.
