Behind the usual comfort of the inhabitants of the region are the professionalism and responsibility of those who daily ensure the movement of public transport in the Leningrad region. This was stated by the head of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko in his channel “Max”.

“Today I congratulate on the professional holiday of workers and veterans of road and urban passenger transport,” wrote Drozdenko.

In the Leningrad region, more than 1,700 buses serve 680 routes, traveling more than 100 million km per year. The region is striving to make public transport more accessible and convenient. Adapt buses for passengers with limited mobility, introduce cashless payment and digital services for tracking flights.

“But no smart technology will replace the skill, endurance and emotional attitude to the work of mechanics and engineers, dispatchers and logistics, drivers, conductors and controllers,” the governor said and thanked drivers for their work, responsibility and dedication to the profession.

The head of the Leningrad region wished everyone involved that each flight was successful, working days were joyful, and family and friends were always waiting at home.
