The Duma of Veliky Novgorod has adjusted the cost plan of the road fund

The Duma of Veliky Novgorod at a meeting on October 23, 2026, amended the Expenditure Plan of the road fund of the regional center for 2026. Financing decided to increase by 197.6 million rubles, the total amount of the fund will be about 1.6 billion, the press service of the city parliament reported.

In June 2026, the City Duma has already increased subsidies for the municipal road fund by 190 million rubles, which were sent for summer and winter cleaning of the city. The current adjustment in October is another plus 197.6 million rubles. Thus, the fund was replenished twice in one year.

Also this autumn, the Duma commissions discussed that part of the funds of the road fund (including funds from 2027) will go to the construction of the road network in the area of the university campus under construction, where it is planned to build a two-lane road, arrange a cycling path and provide lighting.
