Entrepreneur from Alekseevka, Belgorod region Nadezhda Vargasenko opened an anti-cafe. She told me how the house works today.

From hiring to business

The head of the anti-cafe "Kukaracha" by education economist. After graduating from the Voronezh Economic and Legal Institute with a degree in accounting, analysis and audit, she worked for hire.

In 2024, due to a serious illness, I had to go to hospital, and then completely leave my job. It was this difficult period that gave time to think about your own business.

Like home

Belgorodka chose the format of anti-cafe. Kukaraka was conceived as a place with a warm, homely, informal atmosphere.

In the design of a lot of textiles, wood, greenery and upholstered furniture. An important part of the concept is the rejection of street shoes. Visitors take off their shoes at the entrance and can get new socks.

Space for choice

In "Kukarach" there are no ready meals, but there is an equipped kitchen where you can drink tea or coffee, take cookies, warm up your food, use dishes. Visitors pay for the time they spend in space.

There are several tariffs: for board games and just staying in the hall, for consoles and VR glasses.

Social contract and credit

To launch the project Belgorod took a social contract for the development of entrepreneurial activity. The amount was 350 thousand rubles. This money was only enough for a part of the cost.

Nadezhda Vargasenko bought sofas and consoles. Everything else she helped friends, relatives and credit.

The anti-cafe is rented. It belongs to the mother-in-law of the woman, so the conditions are gentle. This reduces the load at the start. Read more about BelPress material.

Recall that the social contract allowed Belgorod to start meat production.
