Two new installations will be installed on the Vologda embankment

During the live broadcast, the head of the regional capital Sergey Zhestyannikov said that the first stage of improvement of the embankment was completed by 77%, the second stage - by 70%.

Workers are currently laying tiles, landscaping, changing the lighting system, installing fences. According to the mayor, by the end of this year, two light installations will be installed on the embankment: “Vologda is the soul of the Russian North” and “The city where fate awaits you.”.

The site from the October Bridge to the monument to Konstantin Batyushkov was landscaped last year. In September, an updated site was opened for Vologda residents from the temple of Alexander Nevsky to the Bellagio.

This year, only 2.3 km of coastline will be improved. For these purposes, funding is provided from the budgets of three levels under the gubernatorial program Strategy 2.0.
