Unity in action: in Luhansk launched the action “With their own one”

On the eve of the Day of National Unity, the Luhansk People’s Republic joined the large-scale humanitarian initiative “United with Our Own”. The start of the action was given at the round table “Together stronger”, where representatives of government, business and non-profit organizations discussed the coordination of efforts to support the participants of the special military operation. The organizers were the Luhansk branch of the Union of Women of Russia and the regional branch of the United Russia party.

What they collect for the front and rear

Organizers accept a wide range of necessary things. First of all, these are long-term storage products: tea, coffee, canned food, nuts and dried fruits. Particular attention is paid to personal hygiene products, medicines in factory packaging (bandages, antiseptics, painkillers) and warm things, including thermal underwear, fleece and shoes. Materials for camouflage networks, tactical bracelets, generators, tools and construction equipment are also required.

Reception points

Cargo can be transferred on weekdays from 10:00 to 16:00. Two main centers have been opened in Luhansk: the branch of the United Russia party on Karl Marx Street, 7, and the Luhansk United Assistance Front in the Parkhomenko quarter, 36.

In other cities and districts of the republic there are points on the basis of local branches of the party. The party takes full responsibility for logistics and delivery of the collected military.

Shared responsibility

This initiative continues the successful practice of the past years, when the joint efforts of the residents of the republic managed to cover the critical needs of military personnel.

The organizers emphasize that everyone can join the collection: from a large enterprise to a private person. The main factor of the action is the support of the defenders and the strengthening of national unity.
