Construction readiness of ecotechnopark in Belogorsk district reached 97%, launch is scheduled for 2027

The construction readiness of the ecotechnopark in Belogorsk district reached 97%, the launch is scheduled for 2027. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture of the Crimea
Work on heat networks, the construction of a checkpoint, a boiler house and an evaporator pond have been fully completed. The administrative building and composting baths are 99% ready. Now the facility is undergoing commissioning and purchase of specialized equipment.
“The main task now is to qualitatively complete the commissioning of equipment and timely deliver equipment so that in 2027 the complex begins full-fledged work for the benefit of the Republic of Crimea,” said Nikolai Vorobyov, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea.
Ecotechnopark will be located on an area of more than 43 hectares. Solid municipal, construction and industrial waste will be sorted and processed here. The complex will provide automatic and manual sorting, composting of organics and the production of alternative fuels.
The capacity of the facility will be 500 thousand tons of waste per year. This will significantly reduce the volume of garbage sent to the landfills of the republic.
Ecotechnopark in Belogorsk district is the largest of the three MSW treatment facilities under construction in Crimea. Its capacity is 500 thousand tons of waste per year, of which 405 thousand tons are subject to disposal. The project is being implemented within the framework of the federal project “Closed Cycle Economy”.
Construction of the facility reached the finish line after several years of work. In August 2025, it was reported that the readiness of the ecotechnopark is planned to be completed in the fourth quarter, and power grids were established at the site, equipment was installed and cleaning work was carried out.
By December 2025, readiness reached 92.5%, and in January 2026 - 92.9%. At the same time, it was reported that the total cost of construction and installation works under the contract is 4.8 billion rubles.
In May 2026, the Chairman of the State Council of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov said that the completion of construction is planned before the end of the year. The large-scale enterprise will create about 700 jobs, and the incoming material will be processed into glass, metal and cardboard, which will then be sold in Crimea and other regions of Russia.
