Ex-official of the Social Fund was convicted in Dagestan for bribes for 17 million rubles

The court in Makhachkala sentenced the former deputy head of the department for monitoring the establishment of social support measures for families with children of the branch of the Social Fund of Russia in Dagestan, accused of receiving a bribe and leading a structural unit of the criminal community. This is reported by the prosecutor's office of the Republic.

It was established that in 2023 she, as part of a criminal community with other persons, received bribes totaling more than 17 million rubles for entering false information into the social security information system. On the basis of these data, illegal decisions on the appointment and payment of child benefits were made and signed.

Taking into account the pre-trial agreement concluded, the Leninsky District Court of Makhachkala sentenced her to 6 years in prison in a general regime colony with a restriction of liberty for 1 year, a fine of 35 million rubles and deprivation of the right to hold positions in the civil service for 6 years. Illegally received more than 17 million rubles turned into state income.
