Electric train Smolensk-Vitebsk will now stop in Liozno

The press service of the Ministry of Railways announced that from October 25, 2026, suburban trains running on the route Vitebsk - Smolensk - Vitebsk will begin to stop at the station Liozno in the Vitebsk region. This measure was introduced to improve the quality of passenger service and increase the transport mobility of the population.

Representatives of the Ministry reminded that to travel to the border zone passengers need to have an identity document or other official document with a photo. For children under the age of 14, a birth certificate is required as proof of identity.
