Elistinsky will be prosecuted for car theft and “drunk” driving

A criminal case against a 39-year-old local resident was sent to the court of Kalmykia.

He is accused of stealing a car and driving while intoxicated.

According to the inquest, the accused, previously convicted, on the night of April 10, 2026, after drinking a lot, stole a Lada Vesta car on Shar-Bags Street in Elista.

He did not manage to go far - the car was stopped by police officers. The criminal case was sent to the Elista City Court.
