Dagenergo specialists for nine months of 2026 cleared about 18 hectares of overhead power lines of different voltage classes from wood and shrubbery vegetation. They also sawed the sprawling crowns of 182 trees.
Clearing the gaps in the protective zones of power lines is one of the important measures to prepare the electric grid complex for the season of maximum loads. With squally wind, snowfall and icing of the branch, touching the wires or falling on them, often cause technological violations and breaks. Timely cutting also provides access to the networks of specialists and technicians, and overgrown crowns after rain or snow can become conductors of current. Therefore, such work is carried out all year round.
By the end of the year, power engineers plan to clear another 86 hectares of power lines.
