The paramedic in Kedrozera received the first patients

Residents of the village of Kedrozero in Kondopoga district have access to quality medical care in the new building of the FAP. The former premises of the medical facility are completely outdated, so the Ministry decided to build a modern modular structure.

The head of the Ministry of Health of Karelia Mikhail Okhlopkov stressed that the new comfortable conditions will serve local residents for many years. The center was headed by an experienced specialist Tamara Elkina, who devoted 40 years to medicine. Since 1986, she has gone from working in Ilemselga to running the FAP in Kedrozera, where today she serves about 500 people.

The project was implemented thanks to the national project “Long and active life”, launched at the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation. This year, similar facilities have already appeared in New Vilga, and construction work is still underway in the village of Wärtsilä.
