On the eve of the Day of National Unity and the City Day, the youth forum “Strength in Unity!” was held in the Victory Hall of the Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War. Its participants were about 100 young workers in the field of transport and communications - specialists of the Belarusian Railway, Minsktrans and other enterprises of the capital and the Minsk region, the correspondent of the Minsk-Novosti agency reports.

The project was organized by the trade union. A large-scale meeting was dedicated to the youngest state holiday - the Day of National Unity, which the country will celebrate on September 17.
The work was organized in an open dialogue format. Speakers were invited from different spheres: journalists, historians, representatives of the city authorities. Many important topics were discussed in the conversation.

- How the Republic of Belarus was formed within the existing borders, how important it is to preserve sovereignty: we speak based on historical roots and pages of history. She was not always happy and bright, there were also very tragic examples. They should not be forgotten, said Artem Tsuran, Chairman of the Minsk City Council of Deputies.

National Unity Day is a holiday born of time. Its meanings are important to know and understand all Belarusians, especially young people. Very soon we are waiting for another holiday - the Birthday of Minsk, so the forum touched upon the development of the capital, talked about the challenges facing young transport workers, and the support of young professionals.

- After her university, she was distributed to the organization, successfully completed her workout and remained there further to work, said Daria Kapchuk, an engineer of the 1st category of KUP Minskbldorstroy. I am very inquisitive, and I was very interested, wanted to learn everything new, and my company gave me this opportunity. On the eve of the Day of National Unity, we are all very pleased that such a speaker as Grigory Azarenok visited us. He reminded us of our history, reminded us of our roots, for which it is important for us to be united.

The main goals of such forums are not just to provide a platform for obtaining new knowledge and sharing experience, but also to strengthen unity among young people.
