As told in the press service of the FPB, members of trade unions are invited to participate - students and students of institutions of higher and secondary special education. The organizers intend to unite young people interested in art, architecture, design and the history of professions, and give them the opportunity to talk through creativity about the importance of work in society.
The central theme of the competition will be the image of the man of work. Participants will be able to present their own vision of representatives of various professions, create symbols of work or allegorical images reflecting creative activity and its significance for society.
The competition accepts sketches of small architectural forms made in plasticine, clay, plaster or wood. The height of the competitive work should not exceed 50 cm.
The competition will become a platform for creative communication of young people from different parts of the country and will open new names among aspiring sculptors, designers and artists. And its winners will have a chance in the near future to see their sketches embodied in reality, the press service of the FPB stressed. The creative work of young authors will be able to become part of the public space and remind of the importance of work and people who develop Belarus with their daily work.
The competition will be held in two stages. The first is regional. Regional and Minsk City Association of Trade Unions will accept applications until November 1. The second, republican, stage will be held from December 29, 2026 to February 26, 2027. This is where the winners of the contest will be determined.
The works will be evaluated by a jury, which will include representatives of the FPB and invited experts in the field of design, architecture and creativity. Winners will receive diplomas, valuable gifts and cash certificates.
