GAI strengthens control over minibuses and taxis in Minsk

In the UGAI, the Mingory Executive Committee reported that the State Traffic Inspectorate of Minsk tightened control over passenger transportation.

As part of a special preventive measure, raids are being carried out in the capital. As specified in the UGAI, inspectors are especially closely watching minibuses and taxis. During inspections, employees assess whether the rules of passenger transportation are observed, check the technical condition of vehicles, and also monitor the physical condition of drivers.

The Moscow traffic police stressed that the responsibility for the safety of transportation lies not only on the driver, but also on the legal entity – it is responsible for the release of the vehicle and the driver on the line.
