The final gala concert of the city cultural and patriotic festival “Minsk United” will be held on September 15. On the air of the program “Speaks and shows Minsk” on “Radio-Minsk” said the head of the Department of culture of the Minsk city Executive Committee Ekaterina Luchina, reports the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

The city cultural and patriotic festival “Minsk United” started on March 19. It united all districts of the capital, and each of them prepared its own concert program in the qualifying stage, and the best numbers will enter the final gala concert.

- The idea of the festival originated last year as part of the Unity Marathon. The Minsk City Executive Committee decided: it is necessary to show that not only professional teams can perform on the stage. There are a lot of talented people in our country who have nothing to do with art, but, unfortunately, for a number of reasons, they seem to go unnoticed. These are representatives of various professions: factory workers, doctors, teachers, managers, bank workers and others, said E. Luchina. Last year we saw how this project brought people together and how their eyes burned when they came to rehearsals. Therefore, it was decided to continue the festival in 2026.

The district administrations have already completed the qualifying rounds.

- Choosing the best turned out to be incredibly difficult, everyone showed great numbers, the interlocutor stressed. On September 15, the final concert will be held at the Minsk City Palace of Culture as part of the celebrations for the Day of National Unity. The participants, whom I can already call artists, will perform accompanied by the Presidential Orchestra of Belarus.
