Gatchina Prosecutor’s office helped the mother of many children to increase the amount of alimony

In the Gatchina district, at the request of the Prosecutor’s office, the rights of a mother of many children and her three children were restored, the press service of the supervisory authority told. It all began with the appeal of a local resident who did not agree with the amount paid to her by her ex-husband for the upbringing of minors.

The audit found that the amount of alimony from the salary of the debtor did not provide the proper standard of living for children. Since it was much less than the subsistence minimum.

To protect the rights of minors, the Gatchina city prosecutor filed a lawsuit with the court to change the amount of alimony. The court found the claims legitimate and justified. The amount of alimony for three children has been increased. The execution of the court decision is put under control in the supervisory authority.
