WHO Director-General to visit Belarus

The head of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus intends to visit Belarus. This became known at the meeting of the Minister of foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkova with the Director General of WHO on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in New Delhi, the correspondent of the Agency “Minsk-Novosti” with reference to the foreign Ministry.

The meeting was held in order to develop practical cooperation between Belarus and the World Health Organization.

The head of the WHO expressed his intention to visit Belarus to get acquainted with national approaches to medical care for citizens, exchange experience in certain areas of medical care and study other Belarusian practices of interest to the organization.
