Geomagnetic disturbances on October 21: Volgograd residents are advised to reduce the load
Space weather presents a surprise: on October 21, our planet will be in the zone of “turbulence”

The first “gusts” of the solar wind reached the Earth’s magnetosphere in the evening of October 20. The magnetic field of the planet began to react to the invasion of charged particles.
The climax came on the night of October 21. According to the forecasts of the Solar Astronomy Laboratory, the Kp-index, the main indicator of geomagnetic activity, soared to 4-5 points, and the magnetosphere went into an excited state.
On October 21, the planet will continue to be under attack. Critical indicators will remain stable until noon. Then the tension will begin to subside. This day promises to be the most turbulent in the series of October magnetic disturbances.
Scientists estimate the probability of events as follows: 51% - a full-fledged geomagnetic storm (magnetic storm) and 30% - the state of the excited magnetosphere (intense disturbances without transition to the storm class).
Magnetic storms are not just an astronomical term, but a real burden on the body, especially on the cardiovascular and nervous systems.
Doctors advise during such periods to exclude overloads, both physical and mental. Allow yourself to go to bed early: quality sleep is the main ally. Temporarily remove from the menu fatty foods and sources of caffeine (coffee, strong tea, energy). Bet on light food and clean water. Keep on hand the usual drugs that your doctor prescribed. Measure your blood pressure regularly, even if you don’t usually suffer from it.
